Additional Details

Late in his career, Tabard explored theories of geometry as they related to pictorial space. This work, with its arcane numeric notations and recognizable triangular forms, surrounds an artfully composed image. Tabard's "majeure" (his own descriptive term) quadrant at top right counterposes the "mineur" one at bottom right. Do Tabard's equations have any scientific basis or are they conceptual elements highlighting a photograph?
